We are seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the role of Procurement Specialist. This team member will purchase materials and supplies for our technical products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail as well as communication skills which will help you negotiate effectively and maintain relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right mix of experience, drive, and professional qualities.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Purchasing of Materials and Supplies
• Responsible for sourcing and quoting products to meet production needs.
• Working within a given budget to purchase goods and services for an organization
• Responsible for placing and tracking orders with vendors and suppliers.
• Entering and updating Purchase orders.
• Responsible for estimation and sourcing by contacting suppliers for pricing.
• Responsible for checking invoices for accuracy, and authorizes the accounts payable department to issue payment

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
• MRP system experience is a must
• At least 3-5 years of directly related procurement experience
• Previous manufacturing experience is highly preferred
